guess i'm not liveblogging since my computer acts up in the living room when i take it in there. jenna says she doesn't miss porn at all, but is proud of her acomplishments. oprah is still bewildered that women can even be porn consumers. the whole episode seems to focus on the dif between erotica and porn. seems like oprah and crew thinks porn is only, maybe sorta ok if it's erotica. sad. wish she'd accept that female sexuality is diverse.

I now have a bone to pick with rah rah female empowerment Violet Blue. She said porn's appeal to women is because there is a part of all women who want to be desired, want to feel the empowerment of being sexy, etc. I was shaking my head yes the entire time. UNTIL...Violet concluded, "for their husbands."
WRONG. What about for ourselves? Is female lust and desire only acceptable when it's for men? I think not.
I'm paraphrasing what Violet said. I'm not a stenographer. But I found it very disheartening. Sidenote: I saw the back of Oprah's head nodding yes as well. And Cum Stains is right. Oprah is not buying any of this as she seems very uneasy with why women would want to watch porn at all. She seemed to come around a little by the end of the show, but still uneasy.

I don't care for Jenna. I never liked her when she was young and now she's clearly Frankenstein-hideous. But, she was the right to work with whom she wants. Just because she did a "scene with some italian looking ron jeremy looking motherfucker" doesn't mean she'd work with Ron.
She's been in the business for at least 16 years and has successfully avoided him to date. I think I can take her at her word that she finds him distasteful and won't work with him.
