Friends Mourn Clarissa Doll’s Passing



LAS VEGAS - Friends were mourning today the passing of former adult performer Clarissa Doll.



She was discovered dead at a home in Las Vegas this week. She was 26.

Veteran director/producer Joe Gallant, who was close to Doll, said details of her death are unclear, but added that it appears she took her own life.

“We really don’t know any details, but it’s a sad day for her friends and her family,” he said.

As a friend of Clarissa's,I was very shocked to hear of her death,and I was too upset to attend the funeral(as much as I wanted to pay my final respects to her,but I just couldn't bear the image of her in a coffin),for myself and her always had a lot of absolute fun whenever we got together at the local Footnight parties,and we always enjoyed each others (platonic) company.

I know that since this past October,she was recovering from a terrible car accident that she was unfortunately in and was spending the first half of the year on private sessions to help pay her bills,and she was still pretty joyful and happy despite her car accident,and it's a real shocker to hear that she may have took her own life(which I find hard to believe,since Clarissa was always a feisty-but-fun-loving person who enjoyed everything she ever did),and I'll definitely miss her as much as her family,her husband(who she met at the first two Footnight parties),and friends enormously will.

LAS VEGAS - Former adult performer Clarissa Doll apparently took hr own life and was found dead the week fo March 6 at a home in Las Vegas.
Doll was close friends with director/producer Joe Gallant, who said in a statement “I worked with her for four or five years ago,” said her friend Terry. “She was one of the few models who actually looked as good in person as in her promotional pictures.”

Doll also worked as a Budweiser Girl, featured on Playboy Channel’s Sexcetera, E!’s Wild On, VH1’s Centerfold Babylon, on ESPN promotional spots, and HBO’s Real Sex series. Doll also could be found doing numerous print modeling.
Doll made her porn debut in 2004’s The Luv Generation which an AVN Award for best pro am in 2005. She also was featured in Manhattan Girls and in Wild in the Streets.
