Dear Posters,

Am I the only one who hears the terms "work" and "performance" in reference to so many female experiences in the industry and think "Jeez, these girls are being duped!"? Are phrases like "whores degraded daily" and "tap your inner degenerate" really just marketing jingles? What about the names "worthless whore" and "filthy little slut" being tossed around like terms of endearment, even outside of the context of a "scene"? Doesn't every single "scene" end in a "moneyshot", usually in the direction of the female performer's face? In many studios, is the presence of a rolling camera and the signing of legal documents merely mental justification for what might otherwise be termed "degredation"?

I appreciate any feedback, with or without quotation marks.

Mainstream raised the bar with Halle in Monsters ball,
Boogie Nights, and HBO specials like Hookers at the point!
They are matching what was porn 15-20 years ago
so porn has to get more extreme!

Its all marketing hype. like the WWE!
