Doesn't the agent need to book the performer in order to recieve his or hers fee? In other words, wouldn't it have to be something like "I'm Such and Such representing So and SO"?? Otherwise, you were never informed of any agent/booker, thusly I think their fee is killed. Plus, when you met this perfomer, was she already signed-up with this agent? Can you be held responsible for parties that fail to represent themselves properly? I don't think you should have to pay one red fucking penny unless either the agent contacted you prior to meeting this performer regarding her availability for work or the performer informed you of her obligation/representation by her agent. By the way, doesn't the agency cut come out of her fee?

However, in the mainstream world, an agent usually has a signed contract. Not sure about it in porn, especially since you see some of the same girls on different agent's sights.
BTW, wasn't Roy Garcia a while back stating that he was going to expect a fee no matter what as long as he discovered the girl. Like even if she hadn't gotten a booking from him in three years, he'd expect payment from the company. Of course, I figure most people would tell him to shove it. But I don't remember the exact stuff, maybe Gene Ross or lukeford.com has it archived.

Yes, that moron sent that letter out and everyone laughed thier ass off about it. I discovered many many girls that moved to LA and got another agent, it happens, another girl comes along. Roy tends to hold grudges and try to get back at people. I dont. Quote:

Robert, Thanks for answering my questions. I just feel if the girl feels that she needs to book her own shoots, she and the producer should not pay any commission. but if the producer calls the agent then they should be able to collect
