That's a nice fluff piece. I especially like this part:

"A couple of months ago Skeeter was giving me details of a case that put him on a sex predator's list. It happened years ago. Wished it had never happened, he says with a shrug of his shoulders. But what are you going to do. Except all of this has been put in his face time and again and used as a loaded gun."

"But what are you going to do?". Oh, I don't know, maybe not break the law in the first place?

I like how Gene mentions this, then glosses over it as if it's just some small, insignificant part of Skeeter's saga.
