thats good shit. i was usually booked as 1 of four things...
Orederly
Coffee/Bagel Shop guy
College Student
Prisoner
which lead me to the one thing i wanted to swipe, I worked on Face/Off and they had these big ass boots on me. I tried to be slick but there was no way i was getting them.
pretty much the only thing i got to make off with was a few scripts which i ebayed off for a couple of bucks.
I'm not in to getting all worked up over celebs, with the exception of the cast of batman, so i could care less who was on the set, BUT one time i got all pumped to meet Brock Peters.
I was like "DOOD YOU'RE THE GUY FROM STAR TREK 6!"
"...and to Kill a Mockingbird"
"what the hell are you talking about?"
ahhh...good times.
My Levar Burton story. I was on the set of a pilot and he was there (his wife is a make-up artist) hanging out.
I thought i'd say "hey". I knew he had written a book and just wanted to congratulate him. that fucker was pretty damn rude and condescending. if I had a copy of his book I would have hit him over the head with it.
I guess he caught himself, realized he was being a dick or realized that if i was on a set i was there for a reason, whatever....he tried back peddling but i didn't see fit to be made a fool of so i kinda wandered off.
dick. I hope he burns in hell.
