fair enough, it's not all stealing-i don't exactly feel like downloading debian on ie or mozilla. it was more of a curiousity thing since i'm out of the loop and am too paranoid about getting something nasty or getting sued and having work hear about it.

europe is small and densely populated so they don't have to lay the miles of cable to reach remote places. that said, the fios guys are showing up friday so i'll have 15/2 which is fast enough.

How much does monthly service cost up there in New Yawk? Road Runner is the Cable ISP in my area, and their monthly service is currently $19.95. Every time they lower their charges, I call up my ISP, SBC-Yahoo, and inform them to lower my bill or I'm cancelling and switching to Road Runner. So far, I've managed to get SBC to play along
