They're afraid that you'll leave them or cheat on them, so they cheat on you so that they have a backup. Or just to prove to themself that they can get another man if they lose you. They don't have enough self-confidence to tell the truth, so they lie, even when telling the truth makes a whole lot more sense and would make their lives easier. They'll argue with you even when they don't know what you're going to say, because they're sure it's something they don't want to hear. They'll do the angel/devil switch on you; one second you're an angel and they worship you, and the next you're a devil and no matter how hard you try to be nice, it's just more proof of how evil you are. They haven't got the courage to confront you about something they don't like, so they'll get angry and insist that you're just pretending not to know why they're angry. Nothing can make them feel secure, so they're always demanding more
