As far as I can tell the best way to make a lot'o'money for the girls is to feature-dance, and probably the best advertising is to be a Porn! Star! The amount the contract pays may not even matter - that's just advertising to drive up rates for dancing.

The other thing is that not all of these girls have steel assholes. Keri may believe/realize she'll suffer an O-ring Blowout eventually at this rate (Mila, anyone?). If she stays in shape and avoids drugs she ought to have a 10-15 career feature dancing, whereas porn careers just don't last that long.
