I have a question about agents. Let say a girl meets you at a party/convention/whatever, you exchange business cards and you decide to shoot her. After your shoot her agent finds out, does he deserve some commission? especially if the girl sought work outside his referral. Are you liable to pay the agent for talent he represents when the girl books her own work? If this agent ask for money when he didn't refer the girl to you, what do you do? Also some girls are represented by multiple agents and agencies, so how can an agent claim that this is his own talent? Back in the old days you only had three talent agencies (world, reb, and regan) now you have hundreds and every agent claims they own the same girls. even male talent bring girls they worked with on previous sets. that adds to way too much agents. give me your opinions guys!
