First off, sorry. With the classes I am taking as a history/sociolog major, film minor, my days consist of learning and using new, different yet equally intense methods of analyzation. The end result, though, is that the classes, especially my current film editing class, kind of put you into a mindset where you are apt to overanalyze anything (anyone who has read any of my reviews probably knows what I am talking about) which can lead to cynicism. I have yet to master turning it off when I leave the classroom. Sometimes a cigar is just a cigar, or whatever phrase it is that Freud said."
