The fuck if I know what the fuck that or anything else is, but I can sympathize with that. There's only so many ways that conversation can go.




As for what I believe, that's a slippery slope. That's mutable.

1) I do try to shake people's trees a little, once in a while, to see what falls out so we don't get complacent, self included.

And hopefully, people are ready, willing and able to call bullshit on me and defend their views, especially if they pipe in with some smug "well, this is how it is and if you think otherwise, you're a jackass."

So what, everybody knows that! Now, convince me what you say is true!

I like having bullshit called on me; keeps me on my toes. And it's funny! Setting people up so they can knock it out of the park is half the fun.

But yeah, a lot of discussions just fizzle or are dead ends to beging with...and that's natural. It's still fun to shake those trees once in a while.


2) The rest of the time is purely for laughs.

So, while I'm all about "it's a good thing she's doing this on film (finally!), so other people can enjoy her mad skillz other than her dad" to "society's ills are to blame for the way these poor girls are ostracized, and we should exalt them, not demean them" to "I'm glad she needed the money, and thanks for helping me make crunchy Kleenex origami -- here's my $20, send more DVDs."

I know this much: there are some quick-witted guys, gals, soulless agents, talentless directors and porn whores out there who can all take a joke.

As for the rest, the truly bitter, the scary stalker types, the drama queens, the addicted and codependent, all I can say is:
