Some people think Jerry T. is a relic from the past, a dinosaur who makes boring porn. I don’t think so, he just needs to can the old fangled angles and lighting. Dude, if I can’t see the pussy, I don’t wanna watch, great story, cool set whatever, just don’t let trying to make a good movie interfere w/ making a great porno flick. I’m not looking at porn to necessarily be entertained, but I like seeing new ideas that work and don’t mind being amused in a good way. Speaking of that, clearly the most consistent thing Jerry’s got going for himself these days are those scripts from Nelson X. Yeah, sure Nelson and I go back like rocking chairs, but fact is they’re well written, deviously thought out and cleverly give a decent plot to propel the porking. Humorous stuff b/c it’ not your average story w/ a bland script and the typically stupid dialoque that the talent doesn’t really care to repeat if they can actually read. This is porn, most of the humps can’t act and they’re not supposed to, but they should be allowed to have some fun beyond the boning…. Still, they’re getting paid to suck and fuck because that’s why porn exists and why we watch it. This is where Jerry needs to get up to speed. Dude, I loved Sex Fifth Avenue because you could actually see Traci, Christy or whoever was getting fucked. It was a solid porno movie w/o trying to be something more. I understand the limitations of gonzo, but obviously don’t care b/c it’s pure porno plain and simple. Now, if somebody has to make these kind of porno movies Jerry T. is the man, but he’s gotta blend in more of a stark raw gonzo atmosphere within the story if necessary. Not everything Lex Drill does is brilliant, but I’m trying to convince the guy to merge both worlds w/o getting mired in either one’s weaknesses. Pretty demanding aren’t I? Somebody needs to be the curmudgeon, but I call it quality control. You can call me a broken record w/a big mouth, but the beat downs will continue until somebody shoots me. Are you up to the challenge? Love Sucks and The News Girl were awesome, but what happened here? Shit, you got Harmony, Missy Monroe, Katja Kassin, Lauren Phoenix and Harmony again, but it was a waste of my time to make the donuts.
