scratch tickets have to be the ultimate way to tax the poor and stupid. it's always the last people who have 5-bucks a day to throw out doing the buying too then wondering why they can't afford to retire/send kids to school/etc. i've yet to see someone walk out of a land rover appearing well-dressed and educated walk into a gas station and drop 20 bucks on those things.

the other thing that i honestly don't understand at all is keno, it must be some kind of hypnotism but i don't understand the rules nor do i want to venture into the smoky dens of the elderly and working-class. too depressing, but they're too old to rob me and they're making sure i pay less taxes.
