If Condi runs, it makes things interesting, will Evangelical's be motivated to vote for a black female wearing dominatrix boots? I think that Hillary may be able to squeeze out a victory against Condi... How far to the right is Condi on abortion and prayer? If she could excite christian conservatives and make them feel guilty for slavery at the same time maybe she wins. If the GOP only throws up the likes of Frist, Gulliani, and Pataki then who knows... she'd probably win. I think a 73 year old McCain, or a Jeb Bush could take Condi in the primaries though. This GOP field is so wide open perhaps Newt Gingrich, Steve Forbes, Pat Buchanan, Alan Keyes, Barry Goldwater's corpse and Michael Savage should jump into the ring! If Hillary is the defacto nominee through much of the process this could give her an edge over the GOP who will be fighting later into the primaries and pushing people further to the right for the nomination. The guarantee of a female president regardless of the outcome of the election is something that I'm not sure I'd be comfortable with.
