A classic album is when you like every song on the album
without exception. Whats incredible about this prince joint
is that all the songs are so different yet it all goes together
without clashing. "Computer Blue" sounds nothing like "Id Die For You" to "Darling Nikkis" explicit eroticism to "Take Me With You's" romantic fantasy or the high note drama
of "The Beautiful Ones"

To the youngsters the best known songs off this album are
"When Doves Cry" and The Title Track and "Lets Go Crazy"

I shot a model and handed her the DVD, and she asked naively 'Purple Rain" was a movie too? She really didnt know. being born in 1982 she was 2 when it came out and she never saw the movie. How cute..
