There was a lot of buzz regarding his hosting of the Oscars and from what I saw on the news it made me wish I watched the friggin' thing for once. Usually it's an ass-kiss fest between a clique of celebrities infatuated w/ their stardom and egos big enough to fill the room. Sean Penn's comments only proved that he's a tight ass w/o a sense of humor who takes himself way too seriously. Didn't he learn ANYTHING from Bukowski? Guess he's too self deluded to understand the meaning of an old fashioned comedy roast like Don Rickles used to do 'cept this time from a hilarious bro who says it like it is. Props to Chris Rock.

yeah...i didn't plan on watching it but i checked in and he was brining the house down. it was brilliant. but the actual awards kept me from watching the whole thing a drove me away

Dave Chappelle would have made a way better host than that sell-out Chris Rock,who has definitely lost his edge if he think the merry ole Bush bashing is going to gain him a massive lynch mob chasing after him(it only got wanted posters of him widely displayed in the Gap and Banana Republic stores),and he otherwise hid behind the corners as the other celebs took the stage for their usual bullshit,and all. Nothing but major disappointment from Chris Rock,who brought a whole new meaning to the word "Sucks" this year. They better get Chappelle to host this thing next year,because I'm not thrilled that the Oscar folks are now considering Johnny Knoxville and his Jackass crew as next year's Oscars hosts.

I highly doubt Knoxville and crew will get the gig. I'm shocked they'd even consider those animals, b/c after Rock they might wanna tone down and go traditional....
