What does being christian have to do with this killer? Did he he say that god told him to or what? Just because he belongs to a certain subset of society does show adversely on that group as a whole and as far as his church people defending him -that happens all the time when they catch killers- the people in the neighborhood say he was a kind and quiet man, never bothered anybody or in some neighborhoods they refuse to believe he did anything- instead maybe he was framed by the Man. So to besmirch a whole religion based upon the actions of one lunatic who should be given the death penalty makes little sense to me.
