Please, let some "mover and shaker," from the adult film industry, read and "act" on this rant. I want to know, why scenes of women smoking cigarettes, are more rare in porn films, than on the Disney Channel? Thanks to anti-smoking pressures in America, more men than ever before, have joined our "smokerhood,"--that coined term for men who get a sexual "boost" just by seeing an attractive, shapely woman, place a looong cigarette between her lips. either in films, still pictures or real life. The eroticism of smoking, is intensely oral, of course. Unfortunately, very few of our "smokerhood" have anything to do with directing or producing sexually explicit movies. Thus, what I, and I know, "all" of our smokerhood, would like to see is the incorporation of frequent female smoking scenes in adult films. Main-stream Holywood, has used the cigarette for decades, in order to accentuate the sexuality of a particular female character role. Yet, the adult film industry, a medium which owes its total existence to "bad/woman girl imagery, seldom utilizes smoking scenes, to personify that character, either in feature films or gonzo. Should anyone seek to respond to this query here, please do not point out the obvious heath/nusiance factor of smoking in our society. That arguement, has been "run in the ground," far too many times. The simple fact, is that well over 80% of the women making porn films today, smoke,in their personal life. Should anyone doubt this, attend the adult film industry convention in Las Vegas, and see for yourself. The second uncontested fact, is that "millions" of men, are sexually attracted to women who smoke. So, how about it, porn directors out there. Will you, "please" make the effort to incorporate female smoking scenes in your future films???? Right now, only two major adult film directors, Skeeter and Bridget Kerkove, appear to have "grasped" the inherent sexuality of our smoking fetish. But, even they have apparently been told to "cool it" by some anti-smoking producers. For whatever its worth, I assure you, for evry dedicated non-smoking activist, I can show you a smokerhood brother (many, who are non-smokers, like myself) who feel just as adamant, and frankly, frustrated, that the adult film industry has "kowtowed" to "political correctness," and as another smoke fetishist once wrote, "the dictatorial power of AVN's Paul Fishbein, the self-appointed Health Czar of the adult film industry.

Luke Ford also has a write up at his site about this very subject.

Usually the behind the scenes of DVDs are the first place I go for this very reason. I gave up a long time ago skimming through movies looking for scenes with porn chicks smoking because it just ain't happenin'. Porn directors, outside of Max and Skeeter, just aren't interested in shooting this fetish.
