According to what my buddy told me, Alanis didn't really hang out with the girls all that much. She was usually that hanger-on chick in the group of guys. This goes back like 20 years, so whatever she's like now is anyone's guess.

I know that her most anti-male song "You oughta know" supposedly refers to Dave Coulier of Full House fame, although many locals believe she was actually talking about former Ottawa Senators goon, Mike Peluso. If this song is what you're using to gauge her hatred of men, then I'm not sure but I personally just think it was a time in her life when she was spurned.

Alanis has had tons of boyfriends, but lately she's been hooked up with Ryan Reynolds of Van Wilder, Blade 3 fame. Apparently they were shacked up in a house out in Vancouver for a bit.

Funny, I guess just last week Alanis became an official American citizen.
