Not comparing the two, just stating that there was someone other than G N' R -- that wasn't hardcore metal like Anthrax, Megadeth, etc. -- that was the complete antithesis of Glam.

Also, if you ask him about the Misfits, he'll most likely just get bitchy, and your interview can quickly go south just like so many others. Maybe if you work it in while you ask him about reuniting with Doyle on his upcoming tour he may be a little more receptive.
