No, I'm not Tod Hunter. I had never even heard of him until Monkey started posting his picture.

That note wasn't meant to be condescending. I haven't heard the dollar amount of Teagan's contract stated other than unattributed rumor. Maybe it's not really $60k.

But if it is $60k, my point was that she was just out of high school, and the common job those unskilled kids have is probably as a burger-flip, and compared to that $60k/year is rich.

"Day labor" may view $60k as fabulously rich, but blue-collar workers with skills don't. A stone mason or custom cabinet-maker might laugh at $60k.
