Look as far as im concerned ADT shouldn't really be talked about here unless its making mentions of people like watch guy, or links to threads of them setting up their cool parities. (OMG we need another link to one of those threads). I always considered it more of a 80's lakers/celtics rivalry but it seems its reached the pre 2004 red sox/ yankees level and it doesn't warrant that, in my eyes. People there say well we have jenna ,etc post. Well lets break it down
* A for most its not really by choice, they are pressured by the companies to make a few posts so adt keep their products lists and reviews active, like big radio stations , if the star wants their records played they have to make a brief stop by, same difference
* to be totally honest, i don't really care that the board isn't littered with porn stars, most aren't very interesting or have anything of interest to say, in fact we are lucky that the mains ones that post here are interesting and funny, bish, grant michaels, john boy, kami, genesis and tyler bring something interesting to the board and its not forced on them to do so, they come here cause they want to, cause they like the board not so the site will keep their products listed.
in the last 10 years the porn industry has taken itself more and more seriously, performers are now products that give the same robotic answers over and over, and its just not interesting, ADT embodies that same trend in my eyes, granted ive read a total of 5 threads there, im still well aware of how the site is run and what is and isn't allowed, so they have more posters, ill take quality over quantity any day of the week. I know that i probably sound like john belushi at the end of animal house, but i feel no need to compete with ADT and the threads i set up about them is more out of boredom or to fill space then anything else.
I enjoy posting here, i enjoy the fact i can say whatever is on my mind without the fear of being banned or the thread being deleted, i enjoy the posters here and what they have to offer (except jrv and lurid 2.0), if you don't and prefer ADT then thats okay, chances are you wouldn't offer this board the kind of stuff that has made it great to this point anyways. I say let the naive fan boys who jerk off to the typings of jenna jameson have their adt and we will have our XXXPT. monkey out (flicks hair)

Comparing ADT to a concentration camp was probably too harsh and it sounded clever at the moment, but the point I want to make here is that the atmosphere there is stifling of geniunely free discourse by banning people for any imagined reason according some pc code implemented by those in control. True, there must be some measure of decorum, but not to the point where you have to walk around on eggshells on a porn board of all places for fear of being tossed. One of the problems here is that they're idiots who chase the porn stars away through stupidity, but it also can be said there are those who need to get a grip. This is a porn board for chrissakes, not a church just to worship whores who take themselves way too seriously. I respect the stars willing to take the chance to participate here for any reason be it shameless self promotion or merely for fun. Those who have stuck around seem to understand the atmosophere and can roll with the punches. However, those people who view an honest opinion as an attack should stay to fuck out and those who let what some idiot said here get to them need to take a hike anyway. I can't speak for anybody else, but what I like about xxxpt is that it seems to be a counterpoint to the realm of the fanboy and the self deluded because it's like a reality check for the adult industy. I love porn, but I hate a lot of it because so much of it is total garbage and too many of the people are outright dirtbags w/ disgusting egos and there needs to be a place where you can mock, attack, parody the porn industy and/or kiss a slut's ass & call a bitch a bitch. In any genre there needs to be those who aren't afraid to shatter the illusions of the status quo and are willing to say what needs to be said no matter how ugly it may be. Think of it this way, if America was run like ADT most everybody would be banned and where's the fun in that?

Monkey summed it up quite nicely- I would like porn stars to post here if they are like the other posters here- in that they can take a joke and dish it out. ALMOST everyone who posts here has a sense of humor and knows that we like to screw around here- and everyone comes under fire at some point or another. If some of the stars would rather stay away because they are not into this scene than thats ok too. I think if most of them would try us out they would enjoy this place because lets face it in order to be a porn star you beter be able to say screw what this person is saying and let it roll off your back. I like to joke around as do the majority of the posters here- so IMO the more people who have a similar sense of humor that post here the better- those who are offended have ADT- not that there is anything wrong with that

We don't insult people just for the sake of insulting them, they are insulted by a person/s if they are disliked. Freedom of speech is a great thing, and i don't buy the ADT version of freedom of speech until you say something that the MODS don't agree with, 50% of every poster's real thoughts and opinions aren't allowed, it limits you, as mentioned speaking on behalf of myself i don't care about the porn stars that post there as i feel the ones that post here offer a lot more. Granted when i get more sleep and i look back at the mess that is this post i will cringe but right now it seems to make enough sense that you get my point, you might not agree with it and i don't expect you to, im just lending my voice to a pointless arguement.
