ivor, i'm not sure i did a great job at explaining myself but you don't have to disagree with me. i just did a lousy job of trying to write very close to what you did--i do think you can tell she's not ugly, but it's almost like a runway model/fashion photographer deal not someone you'd actuially want to fuck. you look at a jil sander ad and know the model isn't hideous but there's too much makeup and stylization and the high-cheekbones/kate-moss deal borders on freaky when looked at closely. you don't want to give a photographer a cracked-out chick and artistic license. ever.
