Do not ever put "______ of porn," where "______" equals someone fairly successful in an artistic sense. This is porn. There are no Orson Welles of Porn, or Martin Scorceses of Porn.

This might be an exception. Jim Holiday was most likely the Rainman of Porn.





I wasn't thinking in an artistic sense.

I was speaking that Holliday equals Tarantino in his love and knowledge of the field that he has chosen as a career -- the movies.

Tarantino, for me, represents a man who loves and adores the cinema. A man who has nothing but enthusiasm for films and the actors that appear in those films.

Holliday, for me, represented the same thing, but in the porno landscape.

Of course Tarantino and Holliday aren't in the same league in an artistic sense.

Tarantino is an artist.

Holliday is a pornographer.

But as devotees (and fans) of their particular cinematic field, they were equals.
