i just realized i've become the smelly monkey of upper-echelon academia by starting false death-rumors about fairly plausible people. i can see how this could get addicting, i'll be the thorn in the side of sociobiology from now on. it also made me wonder if more people could recognize e.o. wilson or marc wallice-i'm betting on wallice.

hey, that's the kind of thing you;ve gotta laugh at deep down while being the stern parent. a lot of kids applying to the same schools as he'll be will hit 18 never having developed that part of being a guy-having some balls and taking a risk or two in the name of the eternally-noble cause that 18-year old girls are. he got caught, but it wasn't with a guy--that's gotta warm the heart. it's so comptetitive to get into those schools it's often a bad idea to take risks,, so unless those kids somehow learn late, they're not going to start companies or basically have fun lives. i like the kid, i got caught in boarding school-same m.o.
