h didn't put out a billionaire for the last 8-10 years, but all rudenstien did was create a war chest not worry why cal tech kids were getting rich. the new guy summers is cool as fuck just for sending that fraud cornell west packing to NJ as basically the first thing he did. then he hired everyone else's comp.sci and engineering departments.

the ability to please and impress everyone across a broad-spectrum is how you get in, but honestly i think that's kind of the opposite of what you need to do more than being a management consultant. there are a lot of super-elite worker bees at any top school-there's a pretty set roadmap for academic success and kids at harvard have had to know it well by 17, but to be a billionaire you have to take risks and be wrong a few times and you've gotta start something.

that's bullshit about most state universities though, those #'s are so skewed by texas at austin, cal, michigan, chapel hill and uva-which are all amazing schools certainly on par with penn/cornell. those schools are fucking filled with the children of the connected and wealthy they're basically the ivy-league with 3x the kids.
