Thanks everyone! This is exactly the kind of info I wanted. My brother just got a new PS2 and it's pretty cool.

He says he had an XBOX, but sold it after three weeks because he hated it. He said the controller sucks.

I have decided to go with the PS2, and then upgrade to the PS3 when that's available.

I appreciate all of the input. Your responses pushed me over the edge for the PS2.
