Many years ago there was a rumor on RAME that Nici Sterling was going to do a beastie video. Someone posted a purported email exchanged between her and some producer.

In the end it apparently was a hoax. But what struck me at the time was that a number of industry insiders, people who knew her and had worked with her, were taken in too. In other words, those who knew her best didn't find it immediately absurd that Nici might do a beastie scene.
