it's not like he's exactly invulnerable or old enough to be a partner. he's got bosses, he's got a name, you could make his career gape if you were truly evil and vindictive. i couldn't imagine justifying it now, but if he affects your reality there's some comfort in mutually-assured destruction. but i'm sure the samurai code calls for some kind of ritual-swordfighting preceded by a kabuki-theater competition.
