I don't think it's a pornwhore thing, it's a general woman thing. With make-up, less is more. The best make-up is when you don't notice she's wearing any - it's an old cliche, but it's true. When you're starting off with someone who is naturally good-looking, cosmetics should be used to emphasise and enhance those good looks, not obscure and re-paint them.

When Melissa changed her hair, as part of the whole makeover I felt she went a little overboard with the make up. I'm glad she's returned to the more natural look I adore. If it ain't broke, don't fix it!

Sometimes I wonder if some of these girls use make-up as a sort of mask to hide behind. Disregarding the porn context momentarily, if shown that photo of Melissa, I imagine her dad would proudly say "that's my girl!". I doubt Jesse Jane's parents would even recognise her.
