Sure, but the biggest cost isn't the computers, it's the artists that create the wireframes, texture them, light the scene and then animate it to look realistic. Those people are in high demand and get paid amazing money by the big companies that do feature films. I doubt that any adult company would be willing to invest in those people and pay the high salary.

And just because you can buy the software and the computers off the shelf, doesn't mean you'll make something that looks photorealistic. It takes skill and a lot of experience. And once you have the skill and experience to do something like that, you'll probably want to get paid well and work on high-profile jobs like feature films.
