I think it's probably the not showering thing.

Things like fixing hair and showering are just inconveniences that get in the way of acquiring more smack. Shaving is much more efficient.

It's like I hear all these ex-junkies talking about how heroin fucked up their teeth. It couldn't possibly be because they went years without brushing them?

Although methadone does cause some people to have a chronically dry mouth, which promotes decay. Probably more info than you asked for, :rollling1:.
