There was at one point five or six threads in the Monkey Cage about it. This hoax has been totally debunked.

I've spoken to public information officers in Washington and Camp Pendleton myself, call them and ask, it's what they're there for. No Marine named Mike, Michael, or with a name that begins with M was killed in Iraq within 72 hours of when she said he was. After that, the rest of her story fell to pieces. It was a publicity stunt to hype her party, "her" modelling agency and her anal virginity using the bodies of dead US servicemen.

But hey, she has a vagina, so keep the faith and don't read any further. Scary stuff in there.
