Sadly you are correct. It seems to be common thread among all religions that there way is the only way to heaven. They also seem to encourage the mass slaughter of other religions. Please do not forget the history of Christians in slaughtering other religions to make room for expansion.

It will be nice when the people of all religions realize that our creator has made many ways to get into heaven. He had too. We are all so flawed.

I agree with your comments on Xmas but not for the reasons you give. I believe that allowing for peaceful and harmless celebrations of religions holidays is good in a Multi-religion society. It encourages tolerance and acceptance of others and is not establishing anything. So let the Christians have the Nativity, the Jews there Menorah and the Voodoo Priests their dead chickens.

The Constitution does require the government to not establish a state religion. This is why "Under God" must be removed from the Pledge and why "One Nation Under God" must be removed the currency. Christmas and other religious based holidays should not be Federal or State Holidays. By doing these things the state is establishing/sanctioning a set of religions.
