Hell yes, that's true. Dad was a bastard but his family drew a lot of water in Malibu, Lebowski, and other kids' parents didn't draw shit. I got into Uni Chicago and Northwestern, they went to a public university. (Although you know which one is better when they call Northwestern "the Harvard of the Midwest," and don't call Harvard "the Northwestern of the East Coast"). And I was quite honestly the biggest fuck-up imaginable in that golden age between 14 and 17. That's why we need the purifying fire of a class war in this country to even things out.
