Not that I deserve a medal, but I've been banned from Adultdvdtalk more times than I can count. I just can't get it together with them. It's absurd how they expect one to discuss UPSIDEDOWN fucked & gagging female heads in a civil manner. They have blinders on over there. If you even suggest that porn is in a golden age of misogynistic degradation at the moment, they have canned answers that either a) that sort of product isn't representative of the industry as a whole, or b) you are engaging in inflammatory semantics. The semantics is all theirs. Those boards are Dr. Strangelovian: "We need to make a choice between two admittedly regrettable, but nevertheless distinguishable porn worlds: one where you have 25% of the female talent sexually humiliated and degraded in an inhuman manner, and another where you have 75% of the female talent sexually degraded and humiliated in an inhuman manner. As it stands we have only 25% of the female talent traumatized and leaving the business, so we're doing no worse than any other workplace. Well, except for the fact that said degradation is captured on video forever. But these are adult women making their own decisions. It would be more misogynistic to take that decision away from them, in my opinion. This reminds me of a poem by Sylvia Plath....."
