I have read that book, and I would not say it was definitive by any stretch of the imagination. It is a well written book and about as correct as most on the subject.
None offer the "truth" as we don't have any tangible historical facts.
I still believe it was and is in the possession of the Templar's.
Another good read is The Gold of Exodus. Some very interesting modern research.
But what the hell do I know, I have only been researching this stuff for about 18 years. Barely scratched the surface.
Another theory is the Grail was a female, and it is said she is in the painting of The Last Supper.
