The children are the losers. But what scares me is how fast the administrators call for the government to take over and run the program.(read my taxes) It seems many feel that the government should run most, if not all of, our lives.
I personally feel the ONLY duty of government is to protect our country. Not fund every aspect of our lives.
In the above story, why not round up the parents and force them to support the kids. There are plenty of state and federal jobs they could be compelled to undertake. Then just use part of their earnings to support the kids.
Don't expect me to support others mistakes.
Just my take on it.
