I didn't ask if you could imagine any situation in which you would kill yourself. I asked if you thought you could imagine every type of human torment well enough to say for sure you could never kill yourself.

Enough. My point is, that to say what CM said is arrogant, and a huge failure of imagination. You have no idea how you might react to some of the worst misery available.

I'm not talking about being upset over a breakup. I'm talking about the huge, and immature, generalization that you have to be a bitch to put a gun to your head.

No I would never claim I could imagine every type of human torment. The only time I could imagine terminating myself is if I felt it was necessary to save someone I cared enough for. As far as mental or physical pain due to loss, deaseas, cancer or etc. I would not terminate myself for those reasons.

My comment had no lack of imagination within context of "killing myself because my girlfriend broke up with me."

In the light you have changed it to. Yes I agree it would have lacked imagination and would have been arrogant, but I never said it in your context. You need to rationalize your thoughts.
