I thought it was really well written.

i just couldn't get into the characters cept for looking at that redhead chick.

its a basic family premise that every sitcom revolves around, what they fail to realize is that this is less and less of a shared experience. within 10 years maybe 5% of the target audience will have had that type of family structure. even now the idea of extended family is foreign to most American kids. I think "Barney" or "Mo" as a Simpson's spin off would do really well hahahaha

As long as those bastards at HBO find a way to keep my DEADWOOD going I will be happy. WHoot

all the talk about the purported demise of family seems to be missing something. most of the population growth now and in the immediate future is coming from immigrant groups traditionally valuing kinship just as highly as palefaces. whether it's religious like latin/south americans, a sense of renao and brotherhood in eating housepets like the chinese, or some multiarmed god thing from the indian subcontinent--there's always some grandparent or something in the picture with first-gens. with many successful 2nd generation indians, not a lot changes with respect to family, usually the same with muslims.

take swami---he's proof people are close enough to their parents to live in their basement at 28.

yeah people value family but the question is which family...on a daily basis I see people who have families...split them up...join em again with another and the kids hate each other and perceive the other parent as not caring about them......family is important to overall public...but what defines and describes a family is ever changing and no longer the happy Make Room for Daddy or Brady Bunch family....

they are looking a lot like Punky Brewster, The Parkers, and even that old movie from the early 80s Hooker.
