Helen was convicted of kidnapping and robbery. Helen and her accomplice who was holding a gun entered an occupied vehicle. Her accomplice pointed the gun a one of the two victims and then fired a round into the roof of the vehicle. Helen then demanded the victims drive to another location. At the new location, they began striking the victims with their fists and the handgun, and then demanded money from the victims. They then stole items and the car from the victims.
