Yeah, which is why I question the article's veracity in the first place.

In fairness, we only checked the Irish death registries. We didn't check the jails. But even then I have huge doubts about the whole thing. You think BI, of all people, doesn't have some kind of direct deposit thing going on? I'm pretty damn sure I remember him gloating about checking his online deposits from Manyvids. IIRC, he was gloating about them when he was trying to re-negotiate with JM. So this whole "we can't find him to pay him" schlock is just that, as I see it. Direct depositors only need to confirm it hit his account, and that doesn't require a personal confirmation.

Another thing that augurs against it being true, besides the utter unlikelihood that BI doesn't have direct deposit? Monsieur's too-eager rush to "confirm" a Mike South story:
