I got one. I use the hacker adapter and get the 24oz bottle refills for $5-$6 depending on the location. Got a bottle of diet orange SodaStream soda 2 feet away from my right arm.


But does it taste like the stuff with the real flavour? Like what you would get down at the Chinese joint?


Not really, but its acceptible. I drink mostly "Waters Zeros" - fruity syrups of cranberry and grapefruit with 0 calories, and other diet soda flavors. The closest syrup to the real stuff is the energy drink syrup. The rest are pretty much cheap immitations/wannabees. Dr Pepper/Pete, root beer and cola and pretty weak. Sometimes I put the Dasani or Kool-Aid syrup instead of SodaStream syrup, rarely I put real-squeezed lemon juice.
