I have a simple formula to judge a Republican's chances in a presidential general election. The more the liberals in Hollywood and the media try to make the Republican candidate into a racist and ridicule him the better his chance to win is. Liberals didn't get up in arms about Romney and McCain. They haven't foamed at the mouth in a presidential election since 2004. They are foaming now.

Trump is at least 50/50 to win this. Absolutely every liberal in Hollywood and the media is ripping this speech and absolutely every cable news focus group made up of everyday normal people living everyday normal lives loved it.

According to liberals he is the biggest jackass to ever run for president and yet he is running neck and neck with their appointed savior. Newsflash--New York City, Washington D.C., Hollywood, and San Francisco are completely out of touch with any part of the country outside of their area codes.

Trump could win it. I don't see anyone who's really enthusiastic in their support for Hillary Clinton. That, combined with all of the assorted baggage she brings with her could be enough for her to lose in November. Basically, the only way for her to win is if enough people vote against Trump rather than people voting for her.

As much as I despise Drumpf, I think Steezo's essentially correct. Her negatives are abysmal. I for one am writing in Bernie, but I live in a solid Blue state. If she picks Kaine for Veep, it might help her win Virginia, but there's a lot of other swing states in flux.

Maybe held out hope she would make solid progressive commitments, but she is far too slippery to ever do that. I spent a lot of time on her website, I gave her a chance. I used to think she was liberal, until I got to know her. She is a corporate owned war hawk.

That's what I thought. I don't think I would change my mind either, even if I did live in a swing state with that scenario.

But it goes to Steez's point: Apart from a couple of limousine liberal bosses, the only person I deal with on a regular basis, male or female, who has consistently and avidly supported $hillz is Bluecipher.
