I took my moms wedding ring to a good jeweler and had the solitaire in it put in a mens settings. 610 bucks for the setting and the stone is worth around 15k. [where the fuck will I wear it?] The jeweler said it was one of the top 5 stones [in quality] to ever come through his shop. The guard had diamond baguettes in it and will have a cubic zirconia put in and be sold on consignment for around 2k to 2.5k. I couldn't stand for the ring to just sit in a safety deposit box. No one I wanted to leave it to.
