The local Ford sales weasel was trying to jew me out of way more shekels than this new truck was worth and I was about to give up when I had an epiphany and decided to text the salesman who sold me my last car, which was an Audi. Excellent German craftsmanship in the Audi btw, although apparently these turbodiesels put out a noxious toxic gas that the suckers driving behind me will have to breathe in.

Anyway, the local Audi dealer's parent company recently bought the local Ford dealer and apparently Audi trumps Ford because the sales manager from Ford called to tell me they were taking my offer. And the sales weasel had to call me later to get my credit card info for the deposit. "Umm...I guess you had my bosses' boss call my boss...." He did NOT sound happy. Anyway, I'll have my new truck in two weeks.
