Cordless, electric chainsaw from Home Depot. Now that I've figured out how to light my basement wood stove without the fire department coming, I need to be able to cut firewood in half so it'll fit inside the stove. It's one of those super-efficient, small wood stoves from some nordic country and it has a name with umlauts and shit in it that would cause my post to show up as a blank page for having illegal characters (can we fix that?).
Kinda funny, but I had to put in two nails at the entrance to my basement man cave and hang a blanket across the entrance to trap the heat inside. Otherwise, my basement thermostat would never click on while the stove is running and all my basement pipes would freeze, even though its like 80degrees down here from the fire in the stove. It's 10degrees outside and the baseboard heating pipes still need water to circulate in them once in a while or they'll freeze up no matter how hot it is inside.
