I paid for a carwash three times today. I pulled up to a multi-bay touchless carwash and selected one of the bays that was unoccupied and paid for my wash. Instead of the door opening so I could enter, I got a message saying I needed to wait for the car ahead of me to finish up, even though the bay was empty and the carwash wasn't operating. I hit the refund button a bunch of times, but nothing happened, so I backed up and pulled up to the next bay over thinking that the carwash would timeout and just give me a refund.

There was a car ahead of me at this bay getting washed, but I ran my credit card and selected the $8 basic wash and as soon as the transaction was processed, the bay door I had just left opened up and a old guy in an SUV pulled up, rolled his window down and asked if I had paid for the wash. I told him to go ahead and just have a free wash and have a nice day. Right after he entered the carwash, I looked ahead and saw that the car ahead of me was finishing up their automated wash....and then the carwash started up again without letting me in and washed that guy's car twice.

I just sat there, waited until everyone finished their washes and drove off, ran my credit card again and finally received my $8 carwash that I paid $24 for. I decided I wasn't going to bother to call the carwash to complain, but I did call Grub Hub when I got home to let them know that the food I ordered on Christmas never arrived and that my credit card had been charged anyways. They cancelled the order, refunded my credit card and immediately e-mailed me a voucher for $25 of free food. So I ended the day a dollar ahead.
