Yeah, there are all sorts of different ways to look at this, all of which are equally worthless. For example, Trump won 2600 counties to Clinton's 500, which works out to 83% of the country, geographically. And on the other side, Clinton won the popular vote by a good margin, but there were places like New York, Chicago and the entire West coast where Trump didn't even bother to campaign.
Trump won fair and square using the established rules of our election system. He had an actual message compared to, "I'm a woman and I'm not Trump." And he campaigned like crazy in the final days, pushing himself over the top in several key Blue states. It's maybe the greatest political achievement in American history.
